Organize a fundraising event

We need your help!

Organizing a fundraiser is a wonderful commitment to our shelter. We encourage you to set up an activity that motivates you, and we’ll guide you through the process!

Steps to follow to organize an activity

1) Choose an activity that inspires you. Visit our suggested activities :

  • Sale of cookies, lemonade and cupcakes at work or school
  • Bingo night, poker night
  • Garage sale, book sale
  • Benefit dinner
  • Donate your birthday
  • Sports tournament, marathon
  • Car washer or wet wipe
  • Can collections

2.
Faites approuver votre projet auprès de Proanima afin de pouvoir utiliser le nom et le logo du refuge: submit your project here 3. Surround yourself with a good team: ideally people who are motivated, organized and dynamic.
4. Plan a budget and set yourself a target amount to reach.
5. Create a timetable with the various tasks involved in the activity.
6. Collect the donations and keep them in a safe place.
You’ll need to remit the total amount to Proanima within 15 days.
7. Thank the sponsors and all the participants in your activity by sharing the amount raised.

If your fundraising is approved, Proanima will :

  • Provide official logo and animal photos
  • Providing donation boxes
  • Provide shelter pamphlets and a promotional poster.

The organizer of the fundraising event is fully responsible for :

  • Advertising the event
  • Event organization costs
  • Find volunteers to help organize the event
  • Ticket sales
  • To acquire and hold all legal permits, licenses, authorizations and insurance certificates.

Thank you for your participation and dedication to the cause of animals!

They raised $1,400 for Proanima!

Bake sale in November 2019: school project by Paul VI students.
They raised $260!

Sale of cookies for his project at his elementary school.
A handsome sum of $150 was raised in February 2021.
