Prince Thor is a young German Shepherd full of life and enthusiasm! At 1 year old and 29.20 kg, he perfectly embodies the energy and intelligence of his breed. Curious, playful and very endearing, he loves meeting new people and is always looking to interact. His affectionate side makes him a loyal companion who only asks to learn and flourish with an active family.

Like any young dog, he still has some “big, boisterous puppy” behaviors: he jumps, nips, vocalizes, and can be destructive if he doesn’t expend enough energy. But with good structure and positive training, he’ll become an exceptional companion. The good news? He’s an ultra-greedy dog! Which means that training with rewards will be a great way to help him progress quickly.

Prince Thor needs a stimulating environment where he can let off steam physically and mentally. He would be an excellent candidate for dog sports such as scent detection, and he could also benefit from training classes (individual or in a group, depending on his reaction to other dogs). With good guidance, he will learn to channel his energy and better manage his excitement, in particular by redirecting his moments of intensity towards suitable toys.

He can live in an apartment provided he receives enough exercise, but be careful: without adequate exercise, he risks pulling more on the leash and expressing his voice!
