Animal profile

Fénix is a beautiful 6-month-old German Shepherd, sociable, playful, and full of energy. He is always up for play and loves interacting with humans. Highly motivated by food, he has excellent learning potential, but he still needs to learn how to manage his emotions and take care of himself. He can be reactive out of frustration, especially with other dogs, as he has a strong desire for interaction.

This is an intelligent and active dog that requires a well-structured routine to feel good about itself. Without proper supervision, it could develop anxiety, leading to unwanted behaviors. Crate or pen training will help it learn to calm down and avoid damage when left alone. It pulls strongly on the leash, so a head halter or front harness is recommended. It may nip, but it is neither strong nor systematic.

With a good daily energy expenditure, whether through physical exercise, interactive games, Kongs, or mental training, Fénix will become a balanced and happy companion. The ideal home for him would be a house with a fenced yard, but he could also live in an apartment if the person is very present and willing to offer him a more intense activity routine than average.

If you are looking for a lively, intelligent and affectionate dog, with strong potential for canine sports and a great bond to develop, Fénix is for you.
