Meet Mitts, a tender-hearted 12-year-old cat looking for a kind and patient family to give her a peaceful and loving home.
Mitts is a fearful little cat at first. She needs time to trust, but once the bond is established, she reveals herself to be very affectionate. She enjoys quiet moments, gentle caresses, and the reassuring presence of a caring human.
She lives with certain health conditions that require some monitoring and care. Mitts has hyperthyroidism, a condition that is well controlled with appropriate medication. She also suffers from cardiac arrhythmia, which requires a calm and stress-free environment, as well as hematuria, or the presence of blood in the urine, which must be monitored. Finally, she has SLIP, a mobility issue that can cause some discomfort when moving around, but doesn’t prevent her from enjoying life.
Despite all this, Mitts remains a courageous, sweet, and loving cat. More than anything, she deserves a quiet home where she can rest, feel safe, and enjoy every moment with those who will love her for who she is: a beautiful, discreet, and precious soul.
