Garçon is a handsome little guy, about 2 years old and weighs 21.5 kg. With his big muscles, Garçon is a dog that can seem imposing. However, behind this big doggie look hides the tender heart of a “lover”. There is nothing Garçon prefers than spending time with his animal handlers and volunteers in the yard; either being petted or quietly sniffing in the grass.

This is why Garçon’s story is so sad. He is such a dog with potential who just needs to be given a chance. Poor Garçon has been abandoned a few times and has lived in a rather unstable living environment. For this reason, we must keep in mind to allow a little more time for him to adapt once he is in his new family. So much change and instability can be stressful for a dog! So, we started medication to help Garçon manage his anxiety.

The ideal family situation for Boy would be a calm and patient family with little coming and going. He could also benefit from an active family, willing to expend their energy on a daily basis.

Boy can live in an apartment, but needs daily exercise and can be vocal.
