Save the kittens

Fundraising
Once again this year, litters of kittens are slowly arriving at the shelter. As every spring, we will quickly be overwhelmed with mothers with their litters as well as orphaned kittens.
Hundreds of unweaned kittens are brought to the shelter. It is our mission to play the role of their mother by protecting them, keeping them warm and feeding them. It is essential to quickly place them in foster homes, where they can be monitored 24 hours a day and receive all the essential care.
Every hour counts for these kittens and you have to be well prepared to welcome them. That’s why we want to raise $3,500 for their nutritional needs: powdered milk, specialized canned food and probiotics.
The milk will be used to bottle feed all kittens who are not yet able to eat solid food. These may be orphaned kittens or kittens abandoned by their mothers. Canned gastro and convalescence food is essential for our kittens and mothers who are not able to assimilate the basic food offered at the shelter. Finally, probiotics will support the digestive system and reduce the risk of diarrhea which can be fatal in kittens.
Starting today, help us make a difference for these motherless babies!
