10 years celebrated in a good mood

This June 15, 2022, we celebrated our 10th anniversary during a warm and sunny corporate event. ☀

Gathered for this 5 to 7 were elected officials and members of the administration of client cities and municipalities, long-standing partners, our board members, donors, not to mention the employees – some of whom were already there at the beginning of the adventure – and our many volunteers who help the shelter and its animals on a daily basis.

Anny Kirouac, general manager, and Geneviève Desrochers, founder of the organization and president of the board, opened the festivities with a speech evoking the history of Proanima, its impact on the community with in particular its 25,000 animals saved , and above all, its development plan for the future.

Our director took the opportunity to thank and honor the seniority and passion of several employees.

With the official opening date of the Boucherville shelter having taken place on January ^1, 2012, we are taking advantage of 2022 to mark our tenth anniversary in various ways. Proanima wishes to celebrate publicly and internally its wonderful years of constant evolution in the service of animals and citizens.
